TRAVEL KUZ will arrive at the Purple Heart Hall of Honor in Newburgh, New York around 11:00 AM. The Purple Heart Hall of Honor commemorates the extrordinary scarifices of America's servicemen and service women who were killed or wounded in combat. The mission of the Hall of Honor is to collect and preserve the stories of Purple Heart recipients from all branches of service across generations to ensure that all recipients are represented.
Our lunch will be at Torches Restaurant overlooking the Hudson River. Your choice of: Brushetta tomatoes, toasted garlic, fresh basil tossed with penne pasta in plum tom sauce or pan seared chicken breast topped with artichokes and sun-dried tomatoes in marsala win sauce serced with smashed baked pot and vegtables.
Your cruise on the Hudson will start around 1:45 PM on board the "River Rose". The River Rose is an authentic New Orleans paddle wheeler. She is wheelchair accessible, air conditioned, and heated when needed.
